Light Fantasies in the Ordinary
Aesthetic experimentation with
light openings can conceive a fantastical ambience in an ordinary space. As
such, unordinary attempts for manipulating light have been made through a
living room design. The incorporation of side windows with a stark rectilinear
design allows for distinctive triangle imprints of natural light to be marked
in the room. Enhancing this imprinting effect is the front porch adhering to
this same design with its railing, a cool mystical sense resultingly provided in
the space. The implementation of ceiling openings harnesses additional light,
although in a different, typical manner due to the rectangular form. Hence, the
transformed light openings were moderately successful in creating a fantastical
atmosphere in this ordinary space.
